What does the Pro plan add?
Pro applies the latest frontier models, such as Gemini and GPT, to summaries, translation, and AI chat. It also adds speaker diarization, audio sharing with notes, plugins and MCP access, and priority access to new features, and you don't need to install heavy local models.
Do I need Pro for privacy?
No. The Free plan is the most private option: all of your data is processed on your PC. Pro's cloud AI features need an internet connection to work.
Is there a student discount?
Yes. Students with a supported school email address can subscribe to the Edu plan, which includes everything in Pro at a lower price. If your school's email domain isn't supported yet, you can request it on this page.
